Is exam MB-300 needed before MB-310?

I am preparing for MB-310 exam. Do I require to attempt MB- 300 before MB- 310 ? Kindly advise. Thanks

Is exam MB-300 needed before MB-310?

Hi Rakesh,

You can take them in any order you would like. I think MB-300 is more generic. While MB-310 focuses on Finance and MB-330 focuses on supply chain. So it's up to you.

However, I would advise you to take MB-300 before it retires for the reason specified by Microsoft below:

Exam MB-300 will retire on February 29, 2024. If you’ve passed Exam MB-310 but not Exam MB-300, be sure to pass Exam MB-300 before it retires. Otherwise, you’ll need to retake Exam MB-310. If you pass Exam MB-300 and earn the certification before Exam MB-300 is retired, you only need to renew your certification annually to maintain

So if you are restricted by time, then maybe start with MB-300
