I need to read excel file from ftp server and write into my folder in ax 2012 x++.i am searching for code but i am getting in .csv file format. so, help me on this one.

So you need to download a file from an FTP folder and save it to a local folder.
First of all, you don't need AX for that. You can do it with any ftp client. Of course you can use AX if you want.
About the file format, it doesn't matter what the file format is if you are not manipulating the file, just moving it to another place. At least that's what you are saying in your question.
Did you already write some code? How does it look like? Any more details?
You might be downloading the wrong file.
But its kind of hard for me to speculate with our more information.
