ReportReport

Hi

I am facing an issue when opening the financial reporting tool. When I click /New/ or /Edit/, the system gives the following message. Also, I am an admin, so there shouldn't be any need for additional rights.

Thanks in advance team
I have the same question (1)

    Hi,

This might be a known issue in MR, recently we resolved it by running a script, I have added the script, however please discuss with MS support before running this and must discuss with your internal architect.

    Management Reporter Connection Issue

    1. Issue: Unable to connect to Management Reporter and received below mentioned errors:

    1. Taken UAT DB Write Access to run the script shared by Microsoft:

Script #2: Script should run on the AxDB:

    UPDATE FINANCIALREPORTINGSETTINGS SET SETTINGVALUE = 0 WHERE SETTINGKEY = 'DisableMaps';
IF @@ROWCOUNT=0 INSERT INTO FINANCIALREPORTINGSETTINGS(SETTINGVALUE, SETTINGKEY) VALUES (0, 'DisableMaps')

Step#2:Re-start MR services after running the above script
    1. Run the script in UAT AxDB

    1. Executed the script:

    1. Restart the MR Service from LCS
    2. Click on Restart Service

    1. Select the Financial Reporting Service
    1. Again, try to open the Financial Reports:

Hi.  You do need to address this with your system administrator.  They should be able to investigate and resolve it for you.

    Hi,
You should first check whether your current role has access to the financial report (although you say you are an administrator, just in case) and refer to the links given by the first two advisors. Once you have confirmed that the problem is not caused by insufficient permissions, you can try the solution provided by Ramit.
    Best regards,
    Kevin
