Hi guys,

Can anyone help me with attaching a file from code?

On HcmApplicant form I have a button to import excel file, the dialog appears, then user seeks for excel file.

Later I want to have ability to open that file from attachments.

I know I have to add a record in DocuRef table, but what else should I do?

it may help to open a docuview document attached to a Purchase Requisition from a Purchase Order.

Practically, you have to create a record on DocuRef Table and link to the HcmApplicant record.

Finally, using the standard Document Handling form you can press the Open button just to open the file with the "default" Windows program.

That's it!
