I have created new Contract on Asset lease Module and posted Opening Balance from Batch journal for initial recognition, Lease Payment , Depreciation and Lease interest. Now I want to change the Financial Dimension but if I change the financial dimension system ask me to create Schedule again and post the adjustment entry. for me I just need to update the correct dimension only in the books. Is there any that I can change the financial dimension without creating new schedule and adjustment entry because I want to use the existing version with historical data
Changing the Financial Dimension for an asset lease without creating a new schedule and adjustment entry is not supported out-of-the-box. The system requires a new schedule and adjustment entry to maintain compliance with accounting standards, as any change to financial dimensions is treated as a modification to the lease.
