Dear All,
I have a question regarding service scheduling, i need to implement the functionality of a portal that connects to CRM and portal users will be able to automatically book for a service on a specif time slot based on availability and working hours, this feature was easily done by using the Dynamics CRM Service scheduling. however Service scheduling with the July 2017 update for Dynamics 365 (online) this feature is deprecated and will be removed in a future major release.
So i am unable to use this feature now. recommendation goes to the user of field service scheduling however its not fulfilling the requirements as there is no automatic scheduling through SDK or code to book service from portal and its already used in other modules in the system.
So whats the alternatives, and whats the best approach to use to fulfill the Service scheduling requirements ?

So your recommendation is to build the full schedule engine capabilities from scratch as customization?
You will need to create new custom entities for service scheduling. Appointments / Bookings etc. Show the same on the portal for user who want to book the time slots by showing them the availability of the appointments.
