Adding/changing a country code

HI!

We would like to know how to change a country code name already in GP as well as being able to add one. We have one country in the system with the wrong description.

Good Day

If you are using Intrastat Tracking ( in Company Options ), you can go directly to the Country Codes Maintenance window.

(Tools >> Setup >> Company >> Country Codes).

If not, you can bring up the Customer Maintenance window, click the Country Code link to open Country Code Maintenance.

Kate, I agree with what DeanM has provided, but caution that you can not change the ID only the description and it does not hold the old description for past or historical transactions - if you change the description - it prints reports with the new description, regardless of when posted.
