Hi guys,

Hope all is well.

Since 2 days ago our automated uploads to the LCS asset library are failing with a very strange error message.
2024-09-10T19:08:22.6437168Z ##[error]PowerShell exited with code '1'.
I cannot find any other relevant information than this.
Any ideas what i can check in order to understand what is actually the problem >

    Apf i fixed it.
So one part of this is that you need to trigger new release not retry the failed one.
but the most important part is the token variable.
I can only assume that was generated as a "personnel token" and after the termination naturally this was not valid anymore.
So i had to create new and trigger new relese.

Thanks for the hints Jonas !
I can only say that you confirm what i was thinking of which was great !

    I think we got it.
Now the question how the hell we are fixing it :D

According to Microsoft Entra, your Identity (THIS IS THE USER IDENTITY) is currently Disabled within the

Oh yeah, been there done that. Users leaving is especially fun in Power Platform 😆

Owners as you mentioned, then the connection user. It should not impact existing releases.
Not related to release pipelines, also check the SAS key used in LCS.

    Hi Joinas,

I am thinking of "user related issue" as well.
Our colleague that was managing the DevOps for us left and the issue started immediately afterwards :D
This is the only error that i see.
All the warning messages we had in the previous releases so i have a feeling we can ingore them.

I have checked the "owner" of the different stages in the pipeline, but i wonder if such a change is impacting existing release or a need to create new one ?

Any idea where else we may need to apply changes

    Thank you in advance.

Do you have any info or warning messages?

The first thing I would check is to see if the user that's used for the service connection can still log in (E.g. expired password etc.).
