Hi

If entity field is defined as "Business Required", mandatory field red asterisk comes after the label, however If it is defined as optional and made mandatory using Business Rules on form then it mandatory field red asterisk is coming at the beginning of the label.

Is ther e any workaround to make it consistently on right side of the label?

    Hi Makeer,

This seems like an issue introduced in Dynamcis 365 V9. Though there is confirmation if this is a bug or a design change but you refer the below blog to make it consistent. Basically the blog talks about making the field required with business rule.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Markeer,

I have a question: why you have to use business rule to change requirement? You can edit the field directely to change it.

    Thanks,

This seems to be a known issue, workaround is to make the field mandatory and toggle the business requirements as "optional" or "required" using the Business Rules

    Hey,

Business rules are used to change the business requirements of a field depending on a condition or by requirements

One of the Example: You can have email address field on the account as optional but for a particular type of account you want to make email address mandatory, for this requirement you can use Business rules to ensure users capture email address for the particularity type of account

    Thanks
