5We are looking to role out the absence manager feature in D365 HR but when trying to add this into the workflow there isn't the option to add a condition to state if there is an absence manager available go to them for approval but if not go onto the managerial hierarchy for approval. We'd like it set up this way as not all employees will be set up with an absence manager therefore still need the option for the workflow to go through to their Manager for approval.
Have any other companies rolled out the absence manager feature and if so what does your workflow look like? Keen to look at some examples.
