Clicking on Knowledge Article bounces users back to Cases

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi guys,

I have a user who clicks on Knowledge Articles and after a couple of seconds is brought to Cases(default view).

I read somewhere that this is correct behavior if Knowledge Articles are not set up for that user.

This user has the CSR Manager role though and should have full access to Knowledge Articles.

Could anyone shine some light on why this is happening? I have full access to Knowledge Articles as I have Admin access.

Hi Beth, it turns out that there is a role called 'Customer service app access' which gives the user access to the CSH. I did'nt know that was there.

From Microsoft: Customer service hub is only available to users with these roles: Customer Service app access role , System Administrator role, or System Customizer role.

As a test give the user more perms and see if it works?   Could be you don't have the right security role for that user added.
