deleted email is still available in dynamics 365

We have a dynamics 365 subscription in which email is synchronize from Microsoft exchange online. When any new email along attachment is coming in exchange online it will automatically converted in to a service request and when i delete this particular email. Email is still available in dynamics 365 as a service request and the attachment is still there and I am able to download it. Can someone help and explain me how does this happen?

    Hi, deleting the mail from Exchange does NOT delete the mailrecord from D365, by design. The mail is imported in the D365 database.
