Case resolution - custom button

Hi,

I know that Case resolution entity cannot be customized, so regarding to my customer requirement, I have created a new button (by Ribbon Workbench), which runs workflow, which resolve the case.

My customer enviroment is multilanguage, I have translated button labels to each of installed language, but I have got problem with confirmation message. How can I translate it to another languages?

    I'm not sure what do you mean with "Confirmation Message"? Can you give a screenshot and what exactly is not localizable?

    Hi, you can pass OrgLcid or UserLcid crm parameters to your custom button command action / javascript, and based on org LcId / UserLcid (language) you need to display different messages to user in their language.

    you cannot translate message to another language but you can display message.

    I know how to pass userLcid parameter, but how display the message for proper language? Where should I validate it?

    The right answer for this particular case - don't use "Smart Buttons" but write own code that will show this or that message depending on user's language.

    In your scenario you can use new resx webresources - bettercrm.blog/.../multi-language-javascript-messages-in-dynamics-365-9-0-using-resx-files
