Hi all,
I've successfully setup telemetry capture to Application Insights to track user activity in the portal, using the javascript in the Tracking Code snippet. However it doesn't seem to capture the final click-event when the user selects the file to download.
We've configured the downloads section of our portal as a hierarchy of web pages, each with associated web files (web pages are parents of the web files). The user navigates through the pages to a list of downloadable files. I'm expecting to see the web file URL or the Web File title to appear in Application Insights but the logged activity stops at the web page level, not showing the file downloaded.
How do I capture that final click and capture the actual file download?
Any guidance is much appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Did you find a solution in the meantime? I'm looking as well to capture the event that a user downloaded a event.
