Thanks this solved my problem.
I deactivated the Workflows that are working on Quotes creation before importing the Quotes.
Hi partner,
I don't think it should be related to modifying the name of the entity, please check if there is a workflow or plugin causing the problem.
Please check this: community.dynamics.com/.../data-import-error-import-create-isv-code-aborted-the-operation-cannot-find-record-to-update
kindly note that the form quotes that I have has many custom fields and I already changed the Name for quotes to Invoices. would this be the problem? I also changed the name for the invoice entity to "unused Invoices" entity in order not to have unique entity names.
I was trying to import quotes, but this is the main error that appeared.
Hi partner,
The reason for this error is that you double-clicked a system entity. The system entity is different from the entity in the dataverse. There is no mainform, so it cannot be viewed.
Here I try to reproduce your problem, just based on a guess, you try to import the quotes, but the import fails, so you want to check the error message, and then click the system entity. Here I use description as an example.
then i got the same error as yours.
So, this error has nothing to do with being able to import quotes. Do you want to import quotes records through excel? This is possible.
You can provide information(screenshots) about the import failure so that we can check it for you.
If you have to have a custom entity, customize the entity in the same organization. If you're a solution provider, use a unique prefix for your solution to make sure that other solutions don't have the same name. The entity prefix can be set at the Publisher.
Hi partner,
This seems to be by design.
You can refer to the following cases: importing for crm.
