Entity to fetch creditnote data in F&O?

 Hello,

I am new in F&O and wanted to confirm that SalesInvoiceHeadersV2 and SalesInvoiceLines are the same entity that we have to use to export credit notes via ODATA. or is there any other entity that belongs separately for credit notes?

another ques- If I go with SalesInvoiceHeadersV2 then how can I identify which one is an invoice and which one is a credit note because there is no by-default field that I can consider as a document type or no field for status as well like Draft/Booked/Paid invoice.
I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

You are correct that there is one single data entity for invoices that also contains the credit notes. There is no specific field, directly telling you if it is an invoice or credit note. You can only rely on the invoice amount. Positive is an invoice, and negative amounts are the credit notes.

The data entity and invoice tables don't have a status. They are only the posted invoice documents. The payment status is maintained via customer transaction settlements.

    Hi Community member,

I agree with Andre, you should rely on the negative amount to indicate if it's a credit note or not.
You could look at this documentation to see how to use odata filters, if you want to filter on amount
    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/odata/concepts/queryoptions-overview#filter

    Thanks,
