Hi

I have a few colleagues that have 'blocks' on being able to view images that have been sent, how do we override this?

Thanks

    Hi,

Do you mean that after you paste a picture in the body of the email, the picture didn’t show up? If so, you could click the “See the full content” button in the email body to see the picture you paste. After you send the email, the recipient could see the picture in the email body.

If so, I did a test in my lab, and I found that if you paste a picture in the email body, it will not show up after saving the email. however, the picture would show up when clicking the “See the full content” button.

    1. Click the "See the full content"

    2. Click "OK" button of the pop-up window

    3. In the new window of the email, we could see the picture.

    Hope it makes sense.

    RE: emails and images

The only secure way of ensuring emails display the images you want displayed is to host them on an external web server with ssl encryption enabled and then to ensure all the images are displayed from that server rather than from Dynamics. My usual suggested approach is to ask for a single images directory on your company's main web server or host a separate server at something like images.companyname.com.....

While it's additional work to begin with as you set up the templates and upload the images once its done it has the advantage that all images within the email come from the same domain as the email itself rather than xyz.crm.dynamics.com. It also means that if the email client asks the "This email contains external images from abc123.com do you want to trust content from this site" question, the user is more likely to accept the request.
