Contact main form order

Posted on by 280

Hi experts, I have a simple question: I have set the Contact entity Main form order as described here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/dynamicscrm-2016/administering-dynamics-365/dn531143%28v%3dcrm.8%29

However, one of the users keeps seeing the Main form which is very last in my set order. I had the user clean the cache and use a different browser, but the result is the same. The organization also has Click Dimensions solution installed and the user sees Click Dimensions form instead of the main form that was set as priority.

    Hi Armine,

Do you want to disable the Main form to the users? If so, you could set the permission of the Main form through Security Roles of the users.

1.Go to the solutions explorer, expand the entity that you want and select Forms.

2.Select Main form and click on "Enable Security Roles" and then configure the roles by your logic.

    Hope it helps.

    Best Regards

    Leo

    Hi Armine,

Can you check if that particular user has been given the security role which other users who are seeing it have.

    OR

Or enable Security Role on the form which the user has

    See screenshot below -

    enableAllSecurityRole.png

If your organization don't have any constraints on which form should be for which security role, simply enable it for all security roles as shown below

Note: If my answer helped you. Please mark this as verified.
