Microsoft Portals - Adding Upload button to attachments

Hi,

I have created a web form and one of the web form steps is the ability to attach.

Currently the form allows for the document to be attached, once attached you need to click next to go to the next page of the form.and then come back to see the attached document.

I would like to attached the document and stay on the page. I cant seem to add an upload button.

Any suggestions

Thanks

Damesh

You can use an IFRAME and add the webpage in it. And then you can use Entity Form in that WebPage. And then hide the Submit button on Entity Form or Rename it to Upload and then when you will check then the upload will just refresh the iframe. As after Submit you will select to Refresh.

I have achieved similar functionality in my project.

    Hope this helps.

Unfortunately there aren't really any out-of-the-box configuration options for controlling how file uploads work.

You either have to use an IFRAME technique like Siddhesh recommended, or the Companion App technique (colinvermander.com/.../) to build it yourself if the behaviour you described is an absolute requirement.

A second option is to instead use the Create/View Notes functionality directly, which will provide the same value but allow you to refresh only the Notes list after uploading. The caveat here is that the record you're associating to must exist (attach file works on Insert, Notes will not) already.
