Does SSDT for Visual Studio 2013 support AX2012 R3 CU 11 with SQL 2016 ?

Hi,

I have prepared a server with SQL 2016 and AX 2012 R3 CU11. But I am unable to install reporting extensions and VS tools for 2013. In prerequisite validation warning showing: 'SSDT is not installed'. But I have installed SSDT for VS 2013. Can anyone please confirm if VS 2013 SSDT is compatible with SQL 2016.

    Not sure, but look like you need to install the SSDT of lower version, or SSDT for VS 2015, msdn.microsoft.com/.../mt186501.aspx

    Try this version:

    www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx

    Make sure you fetch the correct file:

    SSDTBI_x86_ENU.exe

    Copy VS components from CU 11 and put it in AX MSI folder. Solved the issue.
