Hi everyone.

This is for Dynamics365 Finance and Operations.

I have recently started editing Electronic Reports for my company, rather than paying our Microsoft Partner company to do it, and I received the following warning: Delta is broken - unneeded insert operation is found

The report works perfectly...

What does this mean? How can I detect what exactly is causing it?

D365 consists of many applications, such as Finance and Operations, Sales or Business Central. You're asking in D365 general forum, therefore it's not clear which product you have in mind. Please add this information.

Hi,
You can this warning message may take place after database refresh in target environment and basically can mean that there are changes (deltas) between versions of data or configurations.
If it is custom ER, open the config and click on validate to find potential error or warnings
If it is standard ER, try to install newest version from Dataverse or if you already have the latest one, delete and install it again from Dataverse.
