After the upgrade of crm to V9, i see the CRM Contact Form is bringing the Focus on Last Field,though it is not the First Field Positioned on the form. Can someone comment on this, is it a bug in CRM V9 or its by design in CRM V9 ?

I did the following :
I added First name, Middle Name, Last Name as 3 mandatory fields on the form instead of a full name field.
and i tried forcefully setting the focus on the first field through javascript and it did not set the focus.
I raised a case with microsoft, they are treating it as a bug.

I am using CRM 9.0.
By default focus set to a first Business required field on form if it is blank.
If it is not blank and still focus on it then you can do what ever Arun is suggesting.
Can you check the behavior by making First name as Business required instead of Recommended?
I believe Last name is required & some focus shift is happening because of composite field (full name) fill up.

We don't have any javascript or business rule to set focus. it was working on CRM 8.2 but it started after the upgrade to V9. I added the javascript code to forcefully set the focus to first name but its always going to last name on a new contact.
What version are you using Mr Dynamics 365 Rocker ?

It seems you have some java script or business rule to set focus. Please check last field dependency to know issue.
