Aligning Jet Reports Table Builder - Table Names with Business Central Table Names

Hi all,

Is there a way to easily determine the naming convention between Jet Reports and Business Central?  I find it challenging to select the correct table in Jet Reports.  For instance, "Posted Purchase Invoice Lines" in Business Central is known as "Purch. Inv. Line" in Jet Reports.

The name of the table is displayed in Jet Reports.
If you want a list, you can directly open table 2000000058 AllObjWithCaption from the UI, and then filter Object Type to table.

    Hope this helps as well.
    Thanks.

Business Central and Jet Reports use the same table names because Jet Reports simply displays data from your Business Central database without modifying any table or field names.

It seems there may be some confusion between Business Central Pages and Tables. For instance, in Business Central, the page is called Posted Purchase Invoice Lines, but the underlying table is actually Purch. Inv. Line.

Hope this blog post clarifies the difference pages and tables in Business Central - How to Identify Business Central Page, Table, & Report Object Numbers - Dynamics 365 Business Central Insights
