GSuite Mail configuration with Great Plains 2018

Hello I am having difficulty with configuring Great Plains to send e-mail through IMAP on Gsuite. I have successfully configured an outlook profile in windows through the control panel for IMAP via the GSuite servers. 

In the mail configuration when I hit test, I successfully receive two green check marks that my tests were successful.

We have configured in Great Plains that we are using MAPI

However when we try and send mail via Great Plains it pops up with a box saying it is generating the e-mail then that disappears and nothing is sent. How do I troubleshoot this issue?

    Hello,

    The issue may not be with your email setup at all, I would recommend going through the No Documents Sent section of my Email Troubleshooting Guide:

    community.dynamics.com/.../dynamics-gp-email-troubleshooting-guide-1743830067

    I would also recommend checking the Drafts folder within Outlook to see if we are getting that far. There are some issues with Gmail accounts where the Multi-Factor Authenication could cause issues. This usually leaves the emails in the Drafts folder.
