Units of measurement on item card

Posted on by 80

Hello team,

We have an item in inventory and a single item that has multiple units of measurement in 1 kg, 2, kg, 3 kg, as well as several grams.

Now I wanted to know the actual list available for 1kg and 2kg, if I will use multiple units of measurement I can get the report based on the main but we wanted to know the actual availability.

Any solution is available in the system we can refer same item code with different units of measurement and get actual report availability.

Thank you

    Nitin,

So you have created multiple Item Units of Measures against the Base UOM = 1KG. Is this correct? I am guessing the reason is the Items are packaged into different KG or GM packaging and weights. If you have Bin turned on the UOM of the Warehouse Ledger is based on the UOM of the Bin Contents that was received in various UOM's. The Bin Contents page will give you the breakdown you are looking for.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Steve
