Setup could not connect to the database server - on Microsoft Dynamic AX 2009, Windows Server 2012 R2 and SQL Server 2008 R2

Hi,


I'm getting a connection-related issue between the SQL Server 2008 R2 database with Microsoft Dynamic AX 2009 running on the Windows Server 2012 R2 operating system, The problem I encountered was related to "Setup could not connect to the database server"

if anyone can explain why the Microsoft Dynamic AX installer can not connect to that database, 
please let me know what I should do.

    Hi andri23,

    It's not AX specific issue. Have you tried to run setup as administrator, verified that connection is not blocked by a firewall and address is correct ?

    User which you are using for installation should have admin rights in SQL. Please confirm if the user have full rights.

    yes i'm sure because i remember that is:

    1. IP address if I am wrong then I will not be able to communicate with the domain server, because the installation of MDA (Microsoft Dynamic AX) this must be through the user from the domain server then I am sure if not wrong in this section

    2. Firewall I have made sure off whether it is private, public & domain

    3. running the installer as administrator I have also done.

    @Hassan Raza Thanks For respon

    I have added user admin that has registered local user and that is in active directory server, but I also not so sure if I have missed in this section.

    The user account from which you are logged in and installing AX have proper roles/access in SQL.

    This error mostly come when user dont have access of SQL or when there is connectivity issue.
