Hi guys, I am working on some Word Templates based on Contact entity. Is there any chance to get Full Name and Title of a logged System User, which should be printed as a Signature at the end of the Word Template ? I got /OwnerID/ and /Title/ of Dataset Owner, but tthis is not the proper solution. I need this signature fields to be filled with a Full Name and Title of a System User, which is going to be used to print it out. I found /fullname/ and /title/ as a fields inside of /Contact_SystemUser/ relationship, but nothing shows up on a document. Any advice , please ? Best Regards Edin
This is really not clear. Could you please clarify when you want to retrieve the system user for the contact? Is it based on the Modified or when the record is loaded? Assuming it is when the record is loaded, you can write a JavaScript code and use it in the onload event of the contact record to make a GET request to the Dynamics 365 Web API endpoint /api/data/v9.1/systemusers and retrieve the system user.
