Unsubscribe button on email template

Hi all! 

I need to add the unsubscribe link on an email template. However, I am aware that Microsoft has removed the button on the template:

I have also enabled the "do not send" functionality from system settings.

However, my question remains - how would you add the unsubscribe link on the email template if the button is not available anymore? How the user unsubscribe from my emails? Is there a workaround without delving into the marketing application?

Note: We currently do not have D365 for Marketing (using the in-app marketing in Sales at the moment)

    Hello,

    I think the easiest way is to create power automate http receiver with parameter of contact email.

    PA will receive email, find it and update contact with "Do not send" value.

    Then put a link to the email template with contact email parameter.
