Unable to confirm approved purchase order

Hi,

We are using AX 2012 and have enabled workflow in it.

There is a purchase order in which Confirm button is disabled.

PO approval status is approved. Change management is also inactive for this PO.

There is no error in workflow history and no error in batch job history as well.

I have also checked ChangeRequestRequired field in PurchTable and it is also unchecked (false).

Can anyone please help how can I enable confirm button for this PO?

Do I need to check anything else??

Thanks,

Abhishek

    Hi Abhishek,

We are getting same issue here in our company for 2 to 3 PO, I have checked everything is ok but user not able to confirm po, means all confirm button is disabled. Here change management is check and workflow approved.

Let me know if any solution found.

    Thanks

    Dear Abhishek Chavda,

    POto-JJOUrnal.png

    Could you please go to

1.AP--> common --> All Purchase Order.

    2.Edit the purchase order

3.In Header view  General tab please change the Purchase type from Journal to Purchase order.

The only plausible reason for happening that the Purchase Order type may be Journal rather than Purchase Order.

The Purchase Order type journal can only be used to create template Purchase Orders which can be used to create other Purchase Orders.

    Hi

As it is mentioned, check the order type. If it was not the origin of problem,  Also check

What is the status of the workfolw? Not status of PO.

Order type is "Purchase Order" only.

    Workflow status is "Completed".

User tried to leave this PO as it is and placed another PO with same vendor and same product.  And same issue happened in this PO too. After approving PO, confirm button is not getting enabled. And all other POs are working fine.

I wonder if issue is at vendor or at product level.

But then I checked in vendor master, and no check box was marked in "Change management for purchase order".

Do I need to check anything else at Vendor level or at Product level due to which Confirm button gets disabled in purchase order.
