Announcements
Ever since last Wednesday 1-26-22 we have users getting this error when trying to print checks.
Unhandled object exception: Invalid number of parameters.
ExceptionSubClass: -2147352562
Nothing has changed in our environment since that date.
Users are clicking on Miscellaneous Check, type in the information, click Print Check and Post, type in the password, then the window comes up and get the error.
Hi Tiunna,
2 things:
- either you use an ISV product to print checks and that could be the issue. You need to contact the ISV to get assistance on that
- or the GP built-in report that is used for your check printing is corrupt.. Verify if you're using a customized version for check printing and/or try to revert back to the original report.
If nothing helps, try starting GP with no REPORTS.DIC referenced in the DYNAMICS.SET launch file. This will start GP without any custom report in GP..
You can check if you have a custom version by going to GP Main menu > Tools > Customize > Customization Maintenance
Hello Tiunna,
I have seen this error once before. It was due to Mekorma.
Do you have Mekorma installed? If yes, if you disable it, does the same error occur? I suspect
I hope this helps!
Thank you!
