Is there a way to modify the activity feed to make them viewable only?

Hi all,

The Activity feeds allow users to add activities but that is not the way we want users to add activities, we want them to use the full form, since we have required fields on those forms that are not on the Activity field's form. We would either like to completely block the Activity feed from anything but "View Only" or add fields to that quick create under activities for all of the different activities. Is that even possible (either of these options?)

Hi,

You can use below option to open main form on which you have placed the required fields.

Other way is to customize the existing quick create forms of respective activities entities.
For e.g. I have create new field on Appointment entity as "Additional Points" and added the same field of "Appointment" Quick Create form as shown below:

In this way we can allow user to create activities records using all the required fields.
