Changing system accounts password

Hi all,

I need to change the password of:

-  Application Object Server (AOS) service account;

-  Business Connector proxy account;

-  SQL Server Database Engine account and

-  Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services account.

Can I change passwords without impact on the functioning of AX? Or do I have to do some configuration change? How can I change the password?

Thanks

    No

    when the password is changed on AD.

    go to services of AOS and update password , otherwise, the service can't restart

    the proxy is used on services but also on the enterprise portal

    in general, all services need to be updated with the new password

    sorry bad luck

    Changing the password of:

    -  Application Object Server (AOS) service account;

         You need to update the password in Windows services properties, otherwise AOS will not start

    -  Business Connector proxy account;

        Changing Password of Business Connector proxy account is having most impact, as per best practice it is suggested that we should keep the password of Business Connector proxy account as - never expire.

    if you change the password of Business proxy account then you need to configure EP once again,

    please check following link

    msdn.microsoft.com/.../aa834430(v=ax.10).aspx

    -  SQL Server Database Engine account and

        not having much impact you need to update the SQL service password, and validate the SQL server Database Engine is up and running

    -  Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services account.

       You need to rerun the SSRS Reporting services configuration tool and check everything set without any error and SSRS Reporting services is up and running.

    Its a tricking job but can be done...

    Please validate.
