I am looking at some possible solutions for a challenge I am looking to solve. We are looking at how we sync dynamics to a couple of different exchanges at the same time.
The challenge is we will have a set of CRM users who need email functionality. Half of them will be sitting in Office365 for email, and the other half will be sitting on the exchange on-prem - for this, we shall say 2016 though it may be an earlier version.
I am just looking for confirmation that my thinking is correct that we can setup hybrid server-side sync and multiple server profiles within CRM and select the server profile for the user depending on if they are on-prem exchange or within office365?
Has anyone else done it this way and have you had any issues?
