Sync contacts and tasks to outlook using Dynamics 365 App for outlook.

Hi,

I wanted to know if we can still sync contacts and tasks from Dynamics 365 (on-premise) to outlook using the new Dynamics 365 App for outlook? If so can anyone guide me the  steps to do the same?

Our client currently uses Dynamics 365 for Outlook (plugin) and we are trying to change it and make them use the App for Outlook.

I read various User Guides but did not find a way for the sync to happen

Kindly let me know.

    Microsoft Dynamics 365 (on-premises), version 9.0 is now available.

    You could refer to this support.

    You could download Microsoft Dynamics 365 on-premises v9.0 from here.

    There is no v9.0 for On-Premise yet as per the link below:

    Hi Sudeep,

    If you're using Dynamics 365 v9+ On-Premise, you can sync with the new Dynamics 365 App for Outlook.

    If the version of Dynamics 365 On-Premise is lower than 9.0, it cannot be synchronized.

    3. You could refer to this article to know synchronization and tracking. (These three articles are all the same User Guide.)

    The Dynamics 365 App for Outlook tracks and synchronizes your mail and calendar data between Outlook (Exchange) and Dynamics 365. Server Side Synchronization is an asynchronous service that runs in the background approximately every 15 minutes to synchronize items between Exchange and Dynamics 365.

    The sync function works automatically and does not require manual operation.

    The tracking feature only needs to click this button on the email record for the drink:
