Can I import segments?

Hello, I would like to  know if in dynamics marketing I can import in a segment the contacts / leads that I want to address in my customer journey.
That is, generate the population to which the tour is going to be directed externally to Dynamics and then upload the result

    All users entering the customer journey must first be a contact or lead.
    In other words:
    1. you have to first import dynamic external users as contacts/leads, then add them to segment.

    2. or use a subscription center form where the customer journey automatically creates contacts for all users who fill out the form and gets them started on the journey.

    We are still relatively new to Dynamics Marketing, but what we ended up doing is importing leads and using those to create the segments. This allows us to build one marketing list, one segment, and one journey, rather than creating one of each for contacts and leads. That being said, if we know we will only be targeting existing customers then we know we can safely just target contacts without the need to import a marketing list.
    I know this wasn't a direct answer to your question, but I had your same question previously and this was the solution we came up with.
    As a side note, we built a flow that automatically matches the lead to a contact based on the email address. This gives us a list of contacts that are end up in any particular segment.
