D365 sync with Microsoft Outlook

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi there,

I've been doing some tests with sending appointments through D365, to check that the appointments appear in outlook.

So far the appointments are going into the inbox of the invitees, but nothing is appearing in my calendar.  I put my user name into the Required field so that I would also receive an invite, but nothing comes through.  Have confirmed that there is nothing in my Junk folder, have also checked my user profile to ensure the email address is correct. and I checked the Email config settings, but found no light.

Would anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the response Adrian Begovich - it seems that I actually have a sync issue at the moment.  It seems that I'm the only one with it, so may need to call support.

    Hi Tarjani,

You can only synchronise appointments between Dynamics 365 for Outlook and Dynamics 365 if your Outlook email address matches your Dynamics 365 email address. In addition, you cannot synchronize to or from multiple email addresses. Read this article for more information on this.
