State Tax Filing Status "Not Applicable"

Hi:

In the latest tax table update, two states that are shown with the Filing Status of "Not Applicable" are Arkansas and Illinois.  But, these two states do indeed withhold payroll tax.

Both states have forms that indicate marital status and number of exemptions.

I did read in GP documentation that a Filing Status code of "NA" means that there are applicable filing statuses for the code.

Regardless, why would these two states, then, be coded as "Not Applicable"?

Thank you!  Much appreciated!

John

    Hello John,

This particular setting is due to these states utilizing just one tax table, so we just have the one in Dynamics GP.  Let me know if that helps!

    Thank you.
