item, Item groups and Main Accounts used for Posting

I would like to get a list from the  system that will tell me which main account each item gets posted to at the Purchase Order level.  I have tried going into the AOT and using InventPosting but it doesn't really give me what I want.

Thanks

    Hi Kchung,

    Can you explain what you really are looking for? What was not useful for you?

    I just want a list by item of what main account it is posted too when creating Purchase Orders.  So for instance, item 7777777 gets posted to Main acct 1234.

    Hi Kchung, You can check this e.g. by opening the released product page, selecting "manage cost" tab and then "posting". Hope it helps, Ludwig

    Yes I know of that one but I was hoping to  not look up per item and would just like a list.

    Thanks!

    Hello Kchung,

    You can check the item group window or the inventory posting form(inventory-setup-posting-posting) as an alternative. Yet, both forms look similar and do not provide you the Information in form of a list.

    All the best,

    Ludwig

    Hi,

    You can invoke "ledgerAccount" to ... \ DataDictionary \ PurchLine

    indeed "ledgerAccount" is an INVENTPOSTING table column named LEDGERDIMENSION.

    and after to access the MainAccount name, you can use ... \DataDictionary\Tables\InventPosting\Methods\accountItemLedgerDimension or below query;

    --------------------

    select main.* from DIMENSIONATTRIBUTEVALUECOMBINATION comb inner join MAINACCOUNT main on main.recid= comb.MAINACCOUNT

    inner join  INVENTPOSTING on INVENTPOSTING.LEDGERDIMENSION = comb.RECID where INVENTPOSTING.LEDGERDIMENSION ="ledgerAccount"
