Hello,
I am receiving an error message when trying to Disposal-Sale of an asset in the Fixed Asset Journal Module - Disposal parameters/Post value Acquisition (prior years) does not exist.
We checked the posting profiles parameters and everything seems to be correct. Each Fixed Asset Group has an offset account and main account. I researched similar questions, but did not find anything regarding "Post Value Acquisition".
Can someone please help?

The interesting thing is we have had the posting profile setup without Depreciation prior-years/this-year for the last many years ... thus our profile setup was likely not standard. With this change, we are now required to setup Acquisition AND Depreciation prior-years/this-year and fit into how our accounting group is expecting to see the transactions.
To further clarify your example setup ... am i understanding the related GL account types correctly?
Depreciation - main account = 'accumulated depreciation' and offset account = 'asset gain/loss'
Acquisition - main account 'Asset account' and offset account = 'asset gain/loss'
Net book - main account 'asset gain/loss' and offset account = 'asset gain/loss'

what MS is suggested is to add a line for Acquisition (prior year), as it has been explained above, you need to test since the voucher is different.

Question - does anyone have an example setup for the Disposal - Scrap posting profile settings?
It is my understanding that we need at the 'least' the following entries:
Net book value (main account = ?, offset = ?)
Depreciation [prior year / this year] (main account = ?, offset account = ?)
Acquisition [prior year / this year] (main account = ?, offset account = ?)
We opened a ticket to MS today and got answer so they know problem and are developing solution.

Yeah - same issue. Updating from 10.0.26 to 10.0.30 and running into this issue.
We have always had only the "Acquisition value" posting type setup without the Acquisition(this year)/Acquisition(prior years). It is my understanding this was an either only Acquisition value OR Acquisition(this year)/Acquisition(prior years), otherwise the system will create double GL postings.
MSFT documentation shows that you can set only Acquisition Value posting type:

[/quote]Issue 759471 (via LCS) looks like it is the source of the problem.
Microsoft has placed this into Status = “Investigating a fix” which means that they have acknowledged a bug exists.
I’ve subscribed to receive email alerts when the issue is resolved.
We solved temporarily so that we removed acquisition value setting and used instead there acquisition prior years and this year. Seems that if you have both acquisition value & acquisition prior year in disposal sales posting profiles and acquistion is done last year, then there is extra/wrong GL postings and difference between FA & GL. Having in this kind of case only acquisition prior year in profiles gave correct GL posting. But we are very confused and need real final solution and instructions to this big mess.
