We need to upgrade AX 2012 R3 CU8 to D365 F&O Onpremise version 10.0.5 but in https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/unified-operations/dev-itpro/migration-upgrade/upgrade-overview-2012 blog it is written on premise is not supported , Please let us know if now it is supported or not as this document last updated was about 11 months ago.
The very beginning of the document says:
"Upgrade is currently only supported from either Dynamics AX 2012 R2 or Dynamics AX 2012 R3. For each release, please update to the latest available cumulative update before upgrading to Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations."
So, upgrade from R3 is supported, but you should install latest CU package before it.
