Bonjour

Suite à une modification du flux de travail des factures fournisseurs, toutes les éléments de travail en attente sont passés en échec avec l'erreur suivante : Arrêté (erreur) : Failed to find workflow version

J'ai essayé de "reprendre" le flux de travail mais l'erreur est la même Arrêté (erreur) : Failed to find workflow version

J'ai essayé de "rappeler" le flux de travail mais l'erreur est la même Arrêté (irrécupérable) : Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

L'élément de travail est en statut "Annulé" mais il est toujours considéré dans le flux de travail "En cours de révision" dans la liste des factures en attente. Je ne pas ni annuler le statut de révision, ni modifier la facture et comme elle est considérée en cours de révision le bouton "Supprimer" est grisé :-(

Hi,

Following a change in the vendor invoice workflow, all pending work items failed with the following error : Failed to find workflow version
I tried to "resume" the workflow but the error is the same Stopped (error): Failed to find workflow version
I tried to "recall" the workflow but the error is the same Stopped (unrecoverable): Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

The work item is in a "Canceled" status, but it's still considered in the "Under Review" workflow in the list of pending invoices. I do not cancel the revision status, nor modify the invoice and as it is considered to be under review the "Delete" button is grayed out :-(

When I create a new company we export workflow on company who exist... I modify in xml the company and Id workflow before import in new company.

But It must not be a best practice !

I don't copy a workflow ?

Hi Martine,

When you import a workflow version in one company, it should not delete instances belonging to another company. This is odd behavior.

I'm not able to tell what exactly to do at this moment. I have seen corrupted workflows in the past. It could be different per occasion what to correct exactly. It would need an analysis first.

We have not removed workflow version ! But when I imported workflow in new compagny, system deleted in the same time workflow in compagny with no completed instances !

There should be check for pending instances but not reality.

You said I need to get help from a developper who can write a script to correct date in environment. How it is possible ? Can you give me details please ?

Hi Martine,

The previous workflow version should NOT be removed in case there were no completed instances. They will normally complete on the old version unless they all get recalled and resubmitted for approval when the new version is active.

I also wonder how the old version got deleted as there should be a check for pending instances.

You would need to get help from a developer who can write a script for you to correct data in your environment. It looks like you currently have an environment with data corruption in the workflow tables.

The original version deleted from my environment.

I need to change workflow on a company A > I import workflow on compagny A > In same moment, workflow of the company B deleted because Id 000103 worflow is the same of workflow of the company A and B.

All Work items pending is in 'Stopped (Error)" in "worklow history".

I cancel and I import same file saved workflow in the company B > Workflow 000103 in compagny A disappears and it'OK in compagny A with 000103 and number of instances is good

Hi Martine,

Can you tell what exact changes were applied? Was the original version deleted from your environment or maybe an attempt to link running instances to the new version?
