Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Installation

Hello community,

Hope you all are having a wonderful time. I've recently been searching for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 setup. I previously downloaded and configured AX 2009 through VM available throughout the internet. But now, I need to install the Business Connector standalone on my personal machine so that I could use that to connect to the remote AOS that has been configured on the server through previously mentioned VM. I came to know through research that for this, I need Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 installation files/setup. Can anyone help me with the installation files/setup. I'm in a bit of a hurry, so your quick help would be highly appreciated. Thanks.

Regards

First of all, it's definetely good to store the installation files for these scenarios. Perhaps your IT department has them somewhere?

According to the AX2009 installation guide, the product has been delivered as a DVD disk. So your company should still have that disk somewhere.

    Hi ShujaARizi,

    In addition:

AX2009 setup files are still available on Customersource: mbs.microsoft.com/.../DynamicsAX2009release

If your company has a Visual Studio Subscription, you might be able to download the AX2009 setup also on: my.visualstudio.com/downloads

If none of the suggestions from Nikolaos and me are working for you, you should contact Microsoft Support.

Hello Andre, Thanks for your response. I fortunately had a CustomerSource account. But the link to the iso didn't provide with any valid data. It just showed an error. Guess MS has removed the setup files.

Does it show the error that the file is not available? In that case, try to see if your company has a Visual Studio subscription or contact your partner or Microsoft Support.

It shows a "Sorry, This file is not currently available" text. My company does have an active CustomerSource account.

    Hi Shuja,

Yes, I noticed the same error now. Like mentioned above, try to contact your partner or Microsoft Support.
