Out of the box reports randomly show as 'There is no data available'

ReportReport

We have a few situations where out of the box SSRS reports will stop working. The error will return for all users saying 'There is no data available' and there is no filter on the report. The only thing that seems to work is restarting all AOS's and the report server. Two of the reports it happens to are:

1. Print an individual expense report.

2. Print project list report.

We tried the following to fix the issue in the past, but does not work:

1. Restart the reporting server/service

2. Try to redeploy the report

3. Check to see if it is a single AOS, but it impacts all

4. Check to see if a job or report is being held, but all is normal

5. Check the error logs on the server to see if there are any errors or locks.

The only way we have found to clear the issue is to restart all AOS's and the reporting server. The reports are getting stuck more often and we can't restart our AOS all of the time to fix it.

    Hi

    A couple of questions...

    - Are you running the reports in the correct entity?

    - Has your system been compiled properly with no errors?

    - Has a successful Full cil compile been done?

    - Has your DB been synced?

Yes, all are correct. We have also cleared the caches (i.e. Report server, data dictionary, AOD, report run, etc.). We have engage MS and provided our database as it is impacting all out of the box reports.
