When I try to enter a line item in the PO and confirm.  The above error message "Field 'Group' must be filled in" pops up.  Unless I am missing something, there is no 'Group' field to fill in.

    Dear Liz,

just another idea, could it be that your vendor has no vendor group?

    Kind regards

    Katy

RE: Error message "Field 'Group' must be filled in.

This solution works on AX365, I didn't have 2012 to test how it works there but it should be similar solution:

When you receive above error that means the Charges Group on the vendor is not set up, please find the vendor profile and update Charges Group, Site and Warehouse.

To fix the PO, go to All Purchase Orders screen and right click on the PO which has problem and select View Details, then go to the heather and underneath of Price and Discount, update the Charges Group with the correct value and save and that should take care of the error.

Have you got any solution  ?

I am trying to create new PO with line so am getting "Group" must be filled in and "Purchase Order" must be filled in for PurchLine

And For PurchTable..."The value "India" in field 'Country/Region' is not found in relating Table 'Country/Region'

    Consult your developer.

There is a mandatory field set somewhere on either the purchTable or purchLine or posting temp table(s).  Developer will easily be able to tell.
