I try to create custom template to show Opportunity & Opp Product Line Item, but I can't get any output from Opp Prod Line Item, pls. help

Then I select generate Word Template as below;

But no any output information from Opp Prod Line Item (show only table header) as below;

I have the same question (0)

Hi Joom,

I have tested a similar scenario on my side using a vanilla organization. I have configured a Word Template for Opportunities based on the official documentation: docs.microsoft.com/.../manage-word-templates

I have then exported my existing data into the Template and it worked as expected.

Please use the guidelines in the official documentation and follow all the required steps. Please pay attention to the relationship required and also to the precise fields included in the template.

Afterwards, if you will face the same challenge, please share details in regards to the precise entity, relationship between entities, fields used and the full template configuration so that we can analyze the exact scenario or open a Support Ticket for in depth review if customizations are involved.

As per your relationship on the template, you can bring the opportunity product details only on the template, not the product line items.. In templates you can bring only parent entity and it's child entity only(Not child's associated entity details.

Hi Joom,

Based on your custom relationship, you can retrieve Opportunity Products fields (details) in your template but not Product Line items (as an associated entity of the Opp Product) child entity. So you can bring fields from directly related entity. This is an expected limitation.
