Migrating from Sage 50 products to MS Dynamics 365 (UK)

I'm looking for a replacement for Sage 50 Cloud Accounting and Sage 50 Cloud Payroll. The accounting application, in particular, is no longer suitable for our needs. Is there any in depth info as to how MS Dynamics handles;

Sales Ledger
Purchase ledger
Stock Control
UK VAT - inclucing forthcoming MTD changes

There is some documentation about the processes online on Microsoft Docs (https://docs.microsoft.com). MTD changes will be supported by Microsoft. This will be released soon.
