Transfer Order posting error

Hi All,

I'm facing an issue while receiving Transfer Order, the system is showing that the account structure is not valid, I'm sure that the combination is valid it's working fine but still it's showing the same error in Transfer Order, Any Idea?

    Hi ahmed.kimo ,

    You need to check in couple of areas like below.

    1) If all main accounts are mapped in the account structure or not.

    2) If all relevant account structures which is required by the legal entity, are linked in the Ledger form or not.

    3) Have you set any mandatory dimension for any segment in account structure which you are not validating / selecting in the transaction level.

    4) Have you set in any main account Do not allow manual entry check mark active or not.

    Kindly find my note for each point below:

    1) If all main accounts are mapped in the account structure or not.

    (Yes it's mapped and can be used in general ledger journal)

    2) If all relevant account structures which is required by the legal entity, are linked in the Ledger form or not.

    (Yes, it's linked and can be used in general ledger journal)

    3) Have you set any mandatory dimension for any segment in account structure which you are not validating/selecting in the transaction level?

    (Yes, I have cost centre and i can see the cost centre is coming in the combination in the error message)

    4) Have you set in any main account Do not allow manual entry check mark active or not.

    (No, All accounts configured to be used manually as well).

    Hi,

    Can this be a date related issue because account structures can be configured with a validity date range (active from/to). Is it possible that the transaction is posted before or after this date specified and that the combination selected is not valid for the date you want to post the transfer order?

    Is this order being done within a Site or between two different Sites?

    If between Sites is this something that happens often? Do you only see the problem with inter site transfers?, or only this item? or only this one transaction?

    If between Sites, then have you set a Site dimension link ?

    Are these Balance sheet or P and L accounts you are posting?

    (it's between two different sites)

    If between Sites is this something that happens often? Do you only see the problem with inter site transfers?, or only this item? or only this one transaction?

    (I'm not seeing this issue happened often but it's happened for 4 Transfer Orders only)

    If between Sites, then have you set a Site dimension link ?

    (Yes, already dimension linked)

    Are these Balance sheet or P and L accounts you are posting?

    (they are BS accounts)

    Hi,

    I currently do not have an AX2012 system open.

    When you edit the account structure you should see a white icon on the left.

    Here is a screenprint: i.ytimg.com/.../maxresdefault.jpg

    If you click on that you should be able to specify validity dates.

    Thanks for the valuable information

    I have checked the option but it's active always and there is no specific range selected

    Hello ahmed.kimo,

    I have not found a note on LCS. It might thus have to be related to a configuration.

    Can you additionally check:

    * Whether the accounts used for the interunit transfer receipt and issue postings are included in the account structure used

    * That the account structure is active

    * Whether you can post any other transfer order that uses possibly different items?

    * The interunit transfer receipt and issue postings account are included in the account structure and it's active

    * We already have done TOs after these 4 TOs with other items.
