How can a user select his language?

With unified interface, personalization settings are gone, the only thing you can customize there is

Time Zone
Calendar
Records/List View

How can user change the language of the system? The only option so far seems to be enabling "Enable embedding of certain legacy dialogs in Unified Interface browser client". My users all speak different languages and I need them to be able to change it

Hello,

You are correct, for now you must keep that option on so that your users can set their language in their personal settings in the Unified Interface.

Is there a specific reason to keep that option disabled?

Until these types of hybrid experiences are ported to the Unified Interface, I advise you to keep "Enable embedding of certain legacy dialogs in Unified Interface browser client" on.
