Data entity is showing for only system administration in Data management

Hi All,

A custom data entity is showing for system admin role but it's not showing for a role on which I have included the privilege to that role.

Already done refresh framework parameters > Entity settings > Refresh Entity List.

Data entity is showing on Data management form but only for System Admin role.

Please help me to resolve this issue.

Please check the security roles and privileges assigned to the role mentioned and ensure that the role has the necessary privileges to access and view the data entity.

This problem may occur because your role does not have enough privileges to view the data entity. You can refer to this official document: Security and data entities - Finance & Operations | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn. This article introduces data entities and corresponding security. It shows the privileges that you should create. It also explains how you should map these privileges to duties.

Can this role see other data entities?
Does other custom entities appear for this role?

Maybe try to build the model and sync

Hi Siddhant,

Can you provide screenshots of the role, duty, and privilege including this data entity? If it is showing for a system administrator, it has no use to refresh the entity list, then something should be wrong with the security setup.
