User- and device-based licences on one device

Hi,

Is it technically possible to use a user-based and device-based licensed account on one Hololens device? Let's say I have two users with user licence and one general user with device licence. Leaving practicality and use-case of such solution aside - is there some technical or design specific limitations that would restrict me? Like for example I would need to configure a certain Hololens device to be used only with one type of licences like device-licence only or user-licence only.

    Hi partner,

    Yes, it is possible to use a user-based and device-based licensed account on one HoloLens device.

    Device licensing, an alternative to user licensing, enables any number of users to access a product through a single licensed device, without the need for separate user licenses. Only the user or the device requires a license, not both. You may mix user and device licenses. 

    Device license has been introduced in Dynamics 365 Licensing Guide:
